| This workshop is the third in a series based on the requirements of Operational Guidance for annual reporting.
Operational Guidance states:
The Secretary of State recommends that enforcement authorities consult locally on their parking policies when they appraise them. They should seek the views of people and businesses with a range of different parking needs as well as taking into account the views of the police
Best practice and legislation increasingly emphasise the requirement for consultations to be carried out. It sounds simply but the range in approaches and tools makes the practical carrying out of a successful consultation a demanding task.
This workshop considers the different options and approaches and includes:
* Legislation and Objectives
* Planning and Preparation
* The Consultation itself
* Results and Follow up
This workshop is a must for those working in enforcement authorities tasked with consulting locally with businesses and local residents.
