Hi all,

Hopefully someone may read this and reply to me. I don't know whether many Parking companies in Canada or the USA sponsor people to come and work for them? Any ideas if anyone does? I never really thought about it until I met a guy working for Apcoa in the UK who was sponsored by them to come from Australia.

I have been working in the Parking Industry for around 8 years now! (I'm only 26!) I have spent most of my time working on the IT side of the Parking Industry but I also have experience in a Management role as an Enforcement Manager. I have a broad range of skills and would love to work abroad so if anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to hear from someone soon.

Thanks

Gareth!

Gareth,

If you're serious about working in the parking industry in the US, I suggest you write directly to one of the major operators there - the equivalents of Apcoa, NCP, ECP, CP Plus etc.
Try:
Central Parking System (Nashville)
Ampco System Parking (LA)
Standard Parking Corp. (Chicago)
Impark (Imperial Parking Corp.) (Vancouver)
Laz Parking, LTD (Hartford)
Republic Parking System (Cahattanooga)
Ace Parking Management, Inc. (San Diego)

Google is your friend.

Secondly, it's professional (not proffesional).

Good luck.
