Cale chosen for the city of Calgary, CanadaCale Systems, has received an order from Calgary Parking Authority (CPA), a new Cale customer, for a complete parking system with some 400 terminals and a Cale WebOffice back-office solution.

1The launch of the first pilot was on July 19th. The installation of the new Cale Web Terminals will continue in the fall of 2007. Cale will replace existing single parking meters with solar powered terminals.

The order is the first step in a major new scheme for improved street parking in downtown Calgary. Iti is a part of the initiative Park Plus which is a whole new way of street parking in Calgary, representing new standards for convenience and simplicity as well as respect for the environment.

The new terminals give the customers more payment options since the terminal accepts both coins and credit cards.
