Intertraffic 2008 - a successful exhibition

From April 1 until April 4 the 19th edition of the Intertraffic took place in the Amsterdam RAI. Intertraffic 2008 can easily be seen as one of the most important and largest platforms for transportation infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking management in the world.

Over 700 participants from 38 different countries were present during this edition of the Intertraffic in Amsterdam.

For WPS the Intertraffic 2008 was the moment to introduce their new parking system to the rest of the world. After 2 years of development (both on hardware and software) the first prototypes of the entry, exit and pay on foot station were introduced during this 4-day event. Since the market demands a parking sytem that is prepared to operate as an integrated system, features like fully web-based, ip-connection and multiple parking applications along with extended event recording and more will all be included in this next generation parking system.

Besides the successful introduction of a new parking system, WPS also used the Intertraffic 2008 to show the latests developments and upgrades on the current parking system WPS BC200. With new features like extended discount possibilities, open SQL database, pay by mobile phone, central card management for multiple parkings and new applications of license plate recognition WPS keeps their parking systems in line with current customer requirements.

After 4 days the conclusion can be made that Intertraffic 2008 was a successful exhibition for WPS Parking Systems B.V.
