 The Canadian Parking Association was founded in 1983 with the primary goal to become the voice for the parking industry in Canada. The first annual conference and trade show was held in 1984. The Association provides valuable benefits such as: professional development, networking opportunities and resource materials for your business. Annual conferences and trade shows have taken place across the country from Halifax to Vancouver. In addition, several district chapters have been formed, where topical issues affecting your area can be examined at the local level. The Association is carefully structured to include private and public sectors with members from public parking companies, municipalities, hospitals, universities, airports, suppliers and consultants. The Canadian Parking Association is the only one of its kind representing the public parking industry throughout the country. The need for public parking continues to grow yearly and with this growth comes new challenges and issues facing the parking industry as a whole. |
