The University of Connecticut is seeking applications for the position of Manager of Parking Services. Serving under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Administration and Operations or a designated administrator, the Manager of Parking Services serves as the administrative official responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of parking services and operations, including the development of operational policies, procedures, plans and services to effectively manage and meet the Universitys parking needs. In addition, the Manager establishes contracts for parking related items including a fixed-route bus service in the region and/or parking lot and garage attendants or maintenance; serves as the spokesperson for Parking Services; and liaises with University officials, state agencies, and others in matters relating to bus transit. The Manager also coordinates the regulation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic with the Universitys Public Safety personnel and University organizations. | Bachelors degree or equivalent formal training and experience; minimum of five years experience in a discipline related to the management of transportation services, parking services, fleet maintenance and/or oversight of the operational business functions of related discipline; demonstrated supervisory and managerial ability; knowledge of transit systems, motor vehicle maintenance/repairs, and/or parking services enforcement; demonstrated ability to work with state and federal agencies; demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, effectively and independently. |

| Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
