International Parking Institute Honors Philadelphia International Airport Enhancement Project

 Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. (TimHaahs) was recently honored with an Award of Merit at the International Parking Institutes (IPI) annual conference in Denver, CO. |
The Philadelphia International Airport Enhancement project received this design award recognizing excellence in parking facility rehabilitation or restoration in a nationwide competition.
The IPI Award for Excellence Program was created to recognize and commend the trend toward parking facilities that are aesthetically appealing as well as functional, and to encourage excellence in parking design.
TimHaahs assisted the Philadelphia Parking Authority in the improvement of the existing vehicular entries and circulation routes via the addition of architectural elements, lighting, and directional signage.
Pedestrian enhancements were focused on the multiple elevator lobbies distributed throughout these large parking structures. The lobby upgrades included new finishes and materials as well as new automatic sliding doors to provide traveling patrons with a more pleasant experience. The new improvements provide an essential feeling of safety for the travelers with an added aesthetic appeal. TimHaahs congratulates the Philadelphia International Airport and the Philadelphia Parking Authority on this prestigious award. |
