IPI is seeking a highly motivated individual with professional parking experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in enhancing the parking profession. The position will serve under the IPI Executive Director.
Responsibilities will include: providing technical assistance for inquiries from both IPI members and nonmembers; personal and administrative participation on
the IPI On-Site Training Program; development of IPI educational and technical seminar programs; research and analysis projects as assigned; written contributions to The Parking Professional magazine; liaison with state/regional parking organizations and represents IPI at various parking-related meetings.
The University of Virginia is seeking an Associate Director for Management in the Department of Parking & Transportation. The Associate Director for Management, who would report to the Director of Parking & Transportation, will be responsible for budget planning, financial analysis, performance measures, internal controls, and Human Resource functions of the department. The Associate Director will assist the Director in managing the operational divisions of the department which include permit operations, facilities operations (garage, meter and grounds operations), transit operations, and chartered flight services.
