The evening will provide an opportunity to network with industry colleagues whilst enjoying drinks and canapés.
There will also be two presentations:
Allan Lantzke, Town of Victoria Park
“Parking Management Planning—an Integrated Approach”
Allan walks the talk, he rides his bike to work and isn’t afraid of public transport and yet he has been instrumental in developing and implementing an award winning Parking Management Plan for a rapidly growing inner city municipality. His awareness of transport, economic development, community and local government politics has been integral in walking the tight rope between good decision making and the public perception of what parking management should look like.
Allan has degrees in Communications and Business Administration and has worked in local government for the last 8 years. He has issued his fair share of parking infringements and through these experiences has gained a considered approach to the role of parking management in transport systems, and the role of transport systems in our community. Allan will have you convinced that good parking management has a lot in common with fishing though it’s not likely to ever be as popular.
Ryan Abbott, Asset Management Services
“The Property Owner’s Requirements for Car Park Management”
Ryan has many years of experience in both parking operations and property management of some of Perth’s major office towers. He will focus on the wish list of the landlord for the professional management of a car park, for example, customer service, timely reporting and the need to accommodate the special requirements of tenants.
Ryan will provide a different, but very important perspective on car park management.
