What it's like to park your bike in Japan (video)

A video posted on Youtube shows the insane mechanic underground bicycle parking technology in Japan. You simply place your bike in an elevator-like contraption and technology does the rest. You don't have to be afraid that your bicycle is missing a wheel, that someone stole it or that it's damaged because of bad weather conditions; this underground parking lot does not allow any humans to enter. This technology has been around for years, but I have never seen it before and I was amazed by the video. The video shows a man parking his bicycle. Or actually a man placing his bicycle at the door and the automated system parking the bike and picking it back up again.

Watch the video below to see for yourself what it's like to park your bicycle in Japan.
