Light Efficient Design, a Division of TADD LLC, was founded in early 2007 as a supplier of quality LED retrofit products with a focus on the Electrical Distribution channel.

Our strategy is to service this segment with a broad assortment of high quality innovative products, offer competitive pricing, provide above average service of supply and do all with integrity.  An example of the types of products we specialize in is the  patented line of Pageant Series replacement bulbs that was designed  with functionality, light output and ascetics that are preferred by lighting professionals.

Tim Taylor, our CEO, President and owner, had been the Senior Vice President at Intermatic Incorporated, a leader in Energy Control Products and Garden Landscape Lighting.  After a long and successful career at a premier Electrical Distribution channel provider, Tim decided to take his experience and relationships to the emerging LED industry.  And he has applied Intermatic ethics and business solutions to the initially Wild West of LED replacement bulb market.  He has put together a team of high caliber Electrical/Lighting Manufacturers reps to service USA and Canadian distributors at the local level with a policy of not selling directly to end users or projects/jobs. 

Light Efficient Design is dedicated to providing the type of products that Electrical Distributors demand; to provide them at competitive prices; to process purchase orders in a timely manner and fulfill them quickly from a domestic warehouse that carries deep inventory; and to make available sales training and product recourse when needed. Proper certifications, such as LM79, Lighting Facts, UL and ultimately Energy Star, are top priorities for us. These labels instill confidence in our customers for our products. More and more of our products carry certifications, and ultimately most will be certified.  We offer proprietary products, with patent pendings, such as our exclusive line of Pageant high power high performance bulbs. Some of our products, in what we believe to be the broadest assortment of LED products anywhere, might appear to be similar to many competitors product but we can assure you that the intrinsics, which you cannot see, have been designed to give you the performance and longevity that you expect from LED products, but dont always get in this vast unknown supplier industry.
