Money Controls branded products include bill, coin, and integrated software solutions with industry leading names such as the Ardac Elite, SR5i, Compact hopper, Universal hopper, and PayLink.

Money Controls has been making bill validators and coin payment products from their home base of Manchester, England since the mid-1960s. They have a great track record of developing successful products. Since 2000, both the Universal and Cyclone hoppers have each sold over one million units worldwide.

In 1996 Money Controls introduced ccTalk serial protocol which is now widely accepted as an industry standard and in 2010 subsequently added DES encryption to certain commands to make it more resilient against attacks on the system. Money Controls was also the first bill validation company to introduce full note scanning capabilities and unique last bill imaging technology.

Money Controls joined Crane in 2010.
