The Zamir systems comprises of three main entities, the imaging unit, data processing unit (DPU) and management software.
The Zamir technology uses electro-optic capabilities to create a unique imaging unit. Its uniqueness enables the production of the very same image under all ambient light and weather conditions. This unit, positioned by the traffic lane or gate will create the image needed for the LPR engine to achieve best recognition results.
The heart of the system is however, the recognition engine. Although LPR technology is font, shape and color sensitive, Zamir developed a learning mode that allows the engine to be taught almost any new reasonable license plate from various countries.
In addition, a self-contained, stand-alone system, full access control and security management software module has been developed. It includes a user database, black list database, gate and lot tables, grouping and hierarchical possibilities and an event journal.
The Zamir system is innovative in its accuracy and in its excellent price performance ratio. This is due to the technology and algorithms, which are incorporated in the LPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system. Zamir has also integrated all the elements of an Access Control system, so as to provide an end to end quality service and performance, in all its applications such as: long-term parking, commercial parking, access control, security, border crossings, closed communities, office buildings and law enforcement.
