Customer Service Representative (Nashville, US)

Position Overview

Fulfill an important role in the organization to support the Amano McGann Branch Office with responsibilities including: answering incoming phone calls, discussing service and related items with clients, entering service calls into Microsoft Dynamics (GP), dispatching of Field Service Technicians, ordering, shipping/receiving, invoicing and collections, account management, inside sales, and other various administrative tasks.

The General Manager reports to the Branch General Manager (BGM)

Job Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be accustomed to answering incoming phone calls with a pleasant demeanor and either directly addressing the need, or forwarding calls according to client need/s.
  • Demonstrated advanced skill using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service orientation, with a strong problem-solving approach.
  • Account Management, grow/establish solid relationships with clients and vendors.
    • Renew/upsell NowCare contracts to existing customers
    • Generate sales orders for opportunities under $10,000
  • Ability to learn new software and product lines quickly.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and procedures a plus.
  • Pack and process UPS / Fed-Ex shipments utilizing online web portals.
  • Creates a positive work environment for all parties.
  • Must be a team player and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a high paced business environment
  • Previous experience in a field service company preferred

Organizational Alignment 

  • Reports to the Branch General Manager (BGM)
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the Service Manager, Project Manager, and Technical Services Team.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the sales and account teams supported
  • This position will be assigned to support a specific AMI Branch
