Senior Civil Enforcement Officer (Streatham, UK)

The Role

We are recruiting for Senior Civil Enforcement Officer to assist in managing a team of night Civil Enforcement Officers, enforcing parking regulations as directed under the Traffic management Act(TMA) 2004. This is an overnight role currently operating 4 nights a week.

What you'll do:

  • You will carry out the normal duties of a Civil Enforcement Officer
  • Ensure acceptable levels of performance in conjunction with Key Performance Indicators for the role
  • Uphold client and company policy and take appropriate action as warranted when a breach is identified in a fair and consistent manner.
  • You will ensure that manning levels and training levels fully meet the operational and contractual requirements of the assignment.
  • Undertake, monitor and respond to all aspects of the Teams deployment including monthly reviews.
  • Attend, when necessary, adjudication hearings to give supporting information in connection with contested PCNs.
  • Ensure correct procedure with HHC, notes, digital imaging protocols, Radio and Body worn Camera protocols are followed, as laid down in the client and/or Company procedures.
  • Providing advice and information concerning parking related matters, whenever asked, in a courteous manner and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all team members operate in accordance with company policy and Client policy including but not limited to H&S Policy, EO policy, visions and values, TMA 2004.
  • You will ensure all paperwork including incident reports and statements are completed and submitted as per current procedures.
  • To provide detailed reporting in accordance with specified time requirements as per Contract requirements
  • To ensure that you maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity in order to promote best practice to the team.
  • Ensure any difficulties or problems occurring during the course of a normal working shift are reported to your Supervisor / Manager and to log all such reports in your daily Pbook.

What you'll bring:

  • Familiarity with the traffic management act 2004 and other parking legislation.
  • Ability to organise and motivate large numbers of contract staff.
  • At least one year’s experience of working in a supervisory role, in a parking or customer services industry.
  • Preparation of reports

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage and motivate staff to deliver an excellent level of service

  • Knowledge of parking industry

What we'll offer you:

  • £24,707 per annum plus additional night allowance of £15.00 per night
