Summary Of Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support of Portland International Airport (PDX) parking systems
  • Provide an IT perspective to parking related projects at PDX
  • Perform implementation and upgrades of purchased systems
  • Responsible for performing system upgrades including version testing, interface impact analysis, and documentation
  • Identify impact of upgrades to existing systems and process
  • Work with others on the development and deployment of associated systems interfaces
  • Work with credit card processing systems and related data security standards
  • Minimum Requirements
  • BS/CS in Computer Information Systems
  • Five or more years' experience supporting multiple production systems to include experience with parking systems preferably from Scheidt & Bachmann; or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
  • Experience performing application support and administration activities for purchased or developed products
  • Experience implementing information systems using structured design methodologies
  • Experience with all phases of the systems lifecycle – analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation
  • Business systems and their related computerized applications
  • Experience with credit card processing systems and related data security standards
  • Solid understanding of parking systems and how the related components operate
  • Understanding of the payment card industry data security standards (PCI-DSS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, VMWare, Oracle databases, and PowerShell
  • DHS/TSA background check – required
  • Valid Oregon or Washington Driver's License
