Production Employee (Utrecht, NL)

About the Job

For the ARVOO Group, a growing organization based in Harmelen, our production team is looking for an enthusiastic, studious colleague with a passion for technology.

ARVOO produces cameras and associated equipment for license plate recognition, parking enforcement, sorting machines and other specialist machine vision related products. We stand for technologically advanced, high-quality products with the corresponding customer-oriented service. Integrity, teamwork and respect for colleagues and customers are of paramount importance to us.

The work

You will work on innovative, high-tech systems, in which you will assemble both electronics and mechanics. We offer a job with a lot of variety: for example, you get to work with assembling and adjusting cameras, with connecting the electronics in our systems or with light metal work (drilling, sawing, grinding and bending). Quality comes first, so you work accurately and in an orderly manner.

Your daily tasks will include the following:

  • Assembling cameras, scanning systems and associated parts
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on these products
  • Providing service at customer location from the service team

We strive to give our employees the opportunity to grow within the organization and offer opportunities to develop talents. Maybe in addition to the tasks mentioned, you will eventually organize purchases, arrange transport or become the point of contact for service requests from our customers!

What do we ask of you?

  • You have at least MBO-4 work and thinking level and you have completed a relevant training
  • You have affinity with electrical systems and mechanics
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, in connection with work and contacts abroad
  • You are in possession of driving license B or you are willing to get it
  • You are available for on-call / reachability service in the evenings and weekends (in due course)
  • You are solution and improvement oriented and you take responsibility
  • You can work accurately, independently and disciplined
  • Preferably you are handy with computers and you have knowledge of network configurations

What do you get in return for this?

  • A temporary contract for 38 hours a week (full-time), with a view to a permanent contract
  • An appropriate remuneration in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement
  • 8% holiday allowance and 25 holiday days
  • Attractive fringe benefits, including travel allowance
  • Freedom, challenge and opportunities to develop and grow within our organization
  • And of course super nice colleagues with a passion for technology and innovation, who are always up for a cup of coffee or a game of table football in the canteen!
