The Following Are The Key Responsibilities Of The Role
As the Service and Construction Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities essential to ensuring the reputation, reliability, and safety of our customers, personnel and product. This role reporting to the CTO is focused on an essential portion of our workflow, the handover of a project to commissioning, through training and into steady-state operations and maintenance. These core workflows will involve various employees, contractors, and 3rd party service companies as required given the requirements of a particular market, all focused on ensuring the best possible customer-centric experience. This role requires a leader who can handle pressure and is willing to get their hands dirty when required.
Lead the Service and Commissioning organization in exceeding expectations in regards to project schedules, NFPA requirements, reliability metrics, safety and above all our customers experience.
Manage customer relationships and expectations coordinating and working as a key part of the team to fulfill customer requirements.
Develop and provide reporting, failure analysis, contractual management, maintenance scheduling, and service forecasting.
Schedule and coordinate training post commissioning with property managers and/or building engineers as required to fulfill contract requirements.
Direct and administer the service and commissioning team on a daily basis ensuring that all in the Western United States where our product is deployed is covered 24/7 with appropriate staffing.
Work closely with the Manager of Supply Chain to ensure spare parts inventories are tracked and maintained ensuring the appropriate level of required components are on hand when required.
Implement and drive continuous process improvements with the service and commissioning team
Navigate and use internal systems including Salesforce, reporting/analysis, MS Office Word / Excel / PowerPoint
The Manager, Service, and Construction Commissioning, Western United States must be a self-starter that has a passion for customer-centric service and high technology, with exceptional attention to detail. They must have a strong work ethic and be a consummate process driven individual and leader with a strong sense of empathy.
You must be a problem solver, who preservers through challenges and can rally a team around a solution and Safely execute.
Broad understanding of the construction industry
Must be very TEAM focused, effective and collaborative.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage construction projects and meet critical deadlines
Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
Flexible interpersonal skills to work with all levels of management
Exceptional time management skills
5 years minimum experience in the construction industry in a leadership role
This is a role that will require late nights and long hours
Desired But Not Required Qualifications
Experience as a non-commissioned officer in the US Military
Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited university
Experience with automated parking lifts, elevators and/or heavy equipment
