As HR Generalist within EVBox you will have a very challenging and important role to ensure that all HR related operational and administrative processes are running smoothly on a global scale. You are the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding operational HR related questions such payroll, holidays, employment contracts etc.

Your main responsibilities are:

Operational HR Management:

You are the cornerstone to our HR operation processes: ensuring 100% reliable and efficient HR administration.

  • Maintaining and updating personnel files and our personnel information system (absence, disciplinarians, grievances and sickness)
  • Monitor probation periods, temporary contracts, visa and tax regulations
  • Managing global payroll: take care of all monthly mutations, (international) payroll processes
  • Manage relocation process and providing support for expats: visa applications, 30% tax ruling applications, being the first point of contact for questions
  • Administration of global lease cars in collaboration with your HR colleagues and local EVBox management

Training and Development:

You are the organizational superstar of our training and development program. You ensure our training and onboarding programs of new employees run smoothly and love to bring in creative new ideas on how to get better and better.

  • Arrange and coordinate the training and induction of employees
  • Help set up continuous learning & development program

HR Data and Reporting:

You are our data scientist (in mostly Excel).

  • Providing accurate HR data and analysis (headcount reporting, sickness rate, turnover rate, HR budget vs actual etc.) for your team members and management
  • Collaborate with Finance department on sales commission reports and payments

Performance Management and Reward:

  • You are the backbone to our performance management process, providing support and administering the process.

HR Policy Development and Implementation:

You have an eye for continuous improvements and are enthusiastic about developing our HR policies further.

Employee Engagement and Retention:

You live and breath our EVBox DNA and are fostering our values and culture on a daily basis. You have creative ideas on how to boost employee engagement and implement retention programs.


The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ideally previous experience in an international scale-up environment
  • You are creative, outgoing and of course, you have good communication skills
  • You live in or near Amsterdam
  • You have excellent English communication skills (Dutch is a big plus)
