Our expanding business in America is looking for a dedicated Junior Technical Sales Engineer to support our local customers and channel sales partners. EVBox is growing enormously internationally and therefore the position is bursting with opportunity to join the accelerating EV-industry.

You will be part of our international sales team and you will be performing day-to-day technical, sales and customer support activities in New York. For this role is it important that you have a good understanding and/or strong interest in sustainable mobility and local market requirements for EV charging solutions.

Technical and customer support:

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support
  • Register, give feedback and follow up on (technical) incidents and technical support issues related to EV-Box products
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Train our local technical installers on how to use and install our products Perform deep analyses of (technical) inquiries
  • Answer inquiries of and provide technical information to internal staff
  • Set-up knowledge base and keep it up-to date
  • Test new releases based on test protocols

Sales support:

  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Inform partners, customers and team members about relevant issues
  • Provide product and service advice to existing and new customers
  • Assist the sales director in making the quotations based on customer - and partner input
  • Provide any necessary technical support to sales persons during technical meetings with customers


  • currently enrolled in a Bachelors/Masters degree with a technical background (hardware/electronics)
  • 0-1 year of experience within technical support, sales support or technical customer service
  • You show affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation
  • In-depth knowledge or willingness to quickly acquire knowledge about the EV sector: you might be already driving an EV or are truly inspired by and passionate about the EV industry in general
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry, sustainable transport, technical supply or energy industry is an advantage
