For our team at EVBox North America, we’re looking for a dedicated Operations Director, based in our Manhattan office in New York City.
Ensuring financial targets and other Operation KPI as OEE, OTAP, Quality and Inventory agreed targets are met in all departments /disciplines and escalate if KPIs under performance
Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration to create a continuous improvement culture
Making sure safety regulations are followed
Keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training
Ensuring the business operates within the company's mission statement
Investigating customer satisfaction (internal & external) and create counter-measures to improve
Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans based on Lean / six-sigma Define strategies together with Peers and VP of OPS to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs and increase profits and get the best performance from staff / employees
Driving the business to increase profits and capacity
Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
Establish a stable Operations output , leading motivated and skilled people based on company expanding strategy to achieve maximum customers satisfaction
Qualification and experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
10+ years senior leadership role in the appropriate field
Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
Proven ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
Strong working knowledge of automotive industry regulations and legislative guidelines
Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
Assertive, pro-active style with sense of urgency
Experience with budget and business plan development
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Customer service competency
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
This position requires travelling to West Coast (50% of the time)
