As Product Manager – Hardware you will manage the AC charging product portfolio of charging stations, product lines and related peripheral products. You will focus on developing a product strategy within product lines, bringing new products to the market with multidisciplinary teams of internal and external resources.
In addition, you'll be responsible for operational product management of AC charging stations and peripheral product lines related to performance specifications, certification and pricing (global approach).
Together with the head of Product Management you will work on the overall product portfolio strategy of EVBox!
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Management AC charging product portfolio
Operational product line management of AC charging stations product lines and peripheral products
Develop product line strategy for of AC charging stations product lines and peripheral products within team
Translating market requirements on features and functionality to hardware (housing/electronics) and embedded software requirements
Defining added value of new product features and functionality for customer propositions with Marketing and Sales.
Gather, analyse and report on product related BI data to improve current products and future product development
Perform benchmarks / competitive analysis
Execute certification strategy with Certification Manager Deliver input for technical documentation (data-sheets / manuals etc)
Work with Marketing, Operations and Sales team(s) on timely and successful NPI process
Lead introduction process from Hardware team side where/when applicable
Improve and implement international pricing policies related to AC product lines
Define product pricing during NPI process and implement with Marketing and Operations
Be an active member of the product development team, work on getting sound business cases in place with commercial teams and define product KPI’s for development and post-launch
Process customer, market and technological information to improve product development
Focus on customer advocacy to improve market acceptation and penetration
Qualifications / Experience
BSc or MSc in engineering, preferably in the field of electronics alternatively in the field of design engineering or mechanics with experience in the field of hardware / electronics development
Minimum of 5 years work experience in a mid-size or larger company on product management or product development management with a commercial component in the B2B or B2B2C market.
Ability to function as binding factor in multidisciplinary team (Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations)
Proven track record in successfully bringing new products to market
Proven track record in product portfolio lifecycle management
Strong stakeholder management skills internal as well as external, commercial partners and suppliers on international playing field
Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry is a plus
Mechanical / electrical engineering
General computer skills in Office
Basic financial skills
Additional knowledge of Microsoft projects and/or Jira preferred
Additional knowledge of / working experience with ERP systems preferred
Fluent in English (oral and written) additional knowledge of Dutch and German language is preferred
