Who we are

However, the transition from gas to electric cars will change a great deal of what we know about transportation. We’re going to need a human(e) voice that knows how to inspire, educate, and motivate people to change their preconceptions and habits. And that’s where you come in!

We’re looking for a savvy writer who doesn’t shy away from social media, techy topics, and critical comments. Our ideal candidate would stay on board to become a full-time hire after 6 months. Does this sound like your calling? Read on....

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Social & Content Intern, you’ll be turning our social media channels into THE go-to-source for EV and cleantech enthusiasts, as well as increasing the readability and findability of our English web pages. Your role will require lots of writing, content planning, data analyses, and research into the EV industry. Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Social Media Engagement

  • Increasing our brand awareness using social media to promote our blog, events, press, etc.
  • Improving our brand awareness using social listening tools and actively engaging with our customers and followers on social media
  • Increasing the reach and engagement on our social media channels with consistent and creative posts and experiments
  • Supporting our product launches and events with paid social media ads
  • Supporting the creation of social media advertising strategy for our European and North American markets
  • Expanding our employee branding and recruitment efforts on social media in collaboration with our HR team

Copywriting And Editing

  • Writing, editing, and proofreading various forms of external communications for EVBox
  • Creating new web pages for our websites
  • Editing and maintaining our websites with SEOptimized copy and the latest specs
  • Writing FAQ articles by turning technical topics into easy-to-digest readings


What we ask from you

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or equivalent
  • You have flawless writing skills in English and are a native or near-native English speaker
  • You know your social media channels from inside out
  • You know how to use tools such as Twitter Analytics and Facebook Insights to make informed decisions about your posts and target audiences
  • You might even know your way around social media ads and Google Analytics
  • You have experience with writing for SEO
  • You’re most comfortable when working in collaborative, multicultural, and cross-functional teams
