Technical Sales Support Engineer, France (Léognan, FR)

As Technical Sales Support Engineer - France you will provide pre-and after-sales technology and product support to French customers. You will work from our office in Bordeaux and you will report directly to the Regional Director France.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Empower customer’s personnel to perform technical support at the local level by providing remote and on-site training and supporting customer’s resources on resolving technology issues
  • Register, give feedback and follow up on (technical) incidents and technical support issues related to EVBox hardware and software
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Perform deep analyses of (technical) inquiries
  • Answer inquiries of and provide technical information to internal staff
  • Set-up knowledge base and keep it up-to-date

Sales Support:

  • Provide up-to-date product and service advice to new and existing customers
  • Support customer’s business development with up-to-date techno-economic analysis
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Inform partners, customers and team members about relevant issues and new releases
  • Provide product and service advice to existing and new customers
  • Assist business developers in making the quotations based on customer - and partner input
  • Provide any necessary technical support to sales persons during technical meetings with customers

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree with a technical background in electrical, mechanical, electronic or software engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the industry

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge or willingness and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about the EV charging market: you might be already driving an EV or are truly inspired by and passionate about the EV industry in general
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry, sustainable transport, technical supply or energy industry is an advantage

  • Verbal and written communication skills in French and English
  • Self-organisation
  • Patience
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to customers
