Business Analyst, Marketing (Austin, US)

As the Marketing Strategy Manager, you’ll be responsible for deeply understanding FLASH’s business goals, influencing KPIs, advising on strategic optimizations and delivering insights across the Marketing and Mobility Partnerships organization, consisting of Brand, Content, Product, Demand, Media, Mobility Solutions and Operations. You’ll be an integral part of a team that challenges the expected and builds for sustainable category transformation.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with senior internal and external stakeholders to understand business goals, marketing objectives, and current and planned data infrastructure to develop thoughtful testing plans, business requirements, and analytical roadmaps
  • Effectively translate data into actionable information, quickly identifying and clearly communicating the ‘so what’ to senior leaders
  • Lead analyses that identify drivers of business performance across various dimensions: customer segment, product, selling channel, media channels
  • Concisely explain insights coming from complex data analyses through effective verbal/written communication and compelling data visualizations
  • Manage and consolidate digital media campaign data from various campaign platforms
  • Develop KPI frameworks and digital analytics tagging recommendations to support the collection of the data needed for KPI reporting
  • Monitor campaign data to identify technical and other issues that impact data collection.
  • Build/maintain reports, dashboards and metrics to monitor and optimize the performance of marketing, demand generation and sales enablement initiatives

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years data/analytics experience in business/marketing/paid media analytics, statistics, digital media strategy and/or data science
  • Expertise in data visualization, data mining, predictive modeling, statistics and experimental design
  • Extensive experience in deep dive analysis on customer attribution, segmentation, retention, purchase and online/offline behavior data to produce quality insights that influence business strategies
  • Extensive experience using SQL or Python to transform, manipulate and analyze customer attribution data (including transactions, web browsing, digital media/comms engagement) and marketing performance data/tools (LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, DoubleClick, Search, Email, Video, Looker) and turn into revenue driving insights
  • Data management experience in Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Google Data Studio
  • Advisor approach to senior marketing leadership to assess data strategy and management, measurement best practices and customer experience optimization challenges
  • Perspectives and thought leadership regarding industry trends, new business opportunities and potential implications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or comparable)
  • Experience working at a technology, software or mobility company
  • Master’s or advanced degree [a plus]
