International Support Engineer (Besançon, FR)


Job Description

Attached to the customer support team made up of 10 people, the international support engineer will be responsible for providing the functional and technical support necessary for the use and maintenance of our systems, both at the level of the subsidiaries, as well as distributors and major accounts, in an international context.

He will be in charge of ensuring, in parallel, technical training related to projects and / or products.


  • Provide level 2 application support for the product ranges of the Smart City entity to our distributors, our level 1 support teams, our partners and key accounts.
  • Ensure the internal and external communication necessary for the use and maintenance of our products, for example: functional communication of new versions and technical procedures for support teams
  • Provide training for our products to the technical teams of the L1 support of the subsidiaries and to the distributors.
  • Participate in the monitoring of new functionality pilots
  • Be responsible for the application of the associated processes and tools, defined by the quality department and the HSE system


  • Coming from a Software or Embedded Systems engineer training, you ideally have proven experience of around three years in technical support for customers.
  • You are recognized for your technical software / electronic / mechanical skills and your ability to manage / prioritize emergencies.
  • You are also endowed with good interpersonal and communication skills. Faced with customer requests, you know how to be available for optimal listening and quality advice.
  • Versatile and curious, you are recognized for your adaptability and flexibility within a technical team, promoting autonomy and collective technical problem solving.
  • Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Spanish is an added advantage.
