Software Delivery Manager (Besançon, FR)

Job Description

We are looking for a Delivery Manager to support the Smart City development teams.
The Delivery Manager ensures the delivery and qualification of the developments or tests of the team he supervises, in compliance with cost, quality and deadline indicators.

Tasks:

  • Hierarchical supervision
  • Manage and develop his team (training plan, individual skills management,
  • carrying out annual interviews, setting objectives, validating leave, etc.).

Planning in collaboration with management and PMO

  • Participate in the development of the service roadmap.
  • Participate in the definition of the processes associated with the business and their applications.
  • Evaluates the load and plans the actions of the team members.
  • Ensures the balance between production capacity and workload required by projects and products.
  • Re-schedule the load:
  • taking into account the velocity and the available resources.
  • in purchases to be made (in terms of subcontracting).

Production and delivery of developments

  • Ensures the realization of developments / tests in compliance with processes and objectives
  • issued by the PMO pole.
  • Issues recommendations and proposes purchasing and industrialization strategies.
  • Sets up and monitors productivity improvement actions (monitoring indicators, etc.) in
  • collaboration with the PMO pole.
  • Delivers product components to internal customers (Industrialization, other services
  • engineering ...).
  • Provide support on product components (from development to maintenance)
  • Ensures backward compatibility of components produced under its responsibility or communicates
  • on incompatibilities.

Profile

  • Holder of a bac + 5 diploma, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position or of expertise technical.
  • You have, in your previous experiences, already manage software projects, cost and risk management and planning are for you exercises already practiced and mastered. You have already managed tools for management (JIRA) and the agile method has already been adopted.
  • You like to work in a team and you are used to being a leader on subjects. To carry out these missions, impartiality, resistance to stress and a taste for challenges will be necessary.
  • You will be working in an international context, therefore fluency in English is required.
  • Rigorous and tenacious, you are recognized for your sense of contact, your respect for deadlines and for your communication and decision-making skills. You have initiative and you pay attention the development of employees in the commitment and success of the missions entrusted.
