FAAC Group, world leader in access automation, parking and access control, including 32 sales companies, more than 2.400 employees worldwide and 17 production sites, is looking for a Financial Controller – Business Unit Parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make sure proper accounting is kept and tax obligations are met
  • Perform monthly closure making sure deadlines are met, reporting is complete and accurate and variances are explained
  • Perform quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans and long term plans
  • Monthly P&L and Balance sheet preparation (Revenue recognition, accruals calculation, reserves calculation and adjustments) for the execution of reports for company’s management
  • Directly manage the sales and margin closure of the subsidiary and related analysis by customer, product line and projects
  • Working closely with Sales and Project Management for Projects profitability tracking
  • Support General Manager in business analysis and key business decisions: variance analysis cost reductions, profitability enhancement, Capex returns, planning & forecasting
  • Credit collections management including credit limit determination, AR overdue tracking, settlements with external customers, cooperation with law firms engaged in collection
  • Maintain accurate accounts reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies & guidelines, applicable accounting principles and legislation requirements
  • Single point of contact for external auditors

Key requirements:

  • At least 5/7 years in the role spent within modern organized companies, with proven track record of successful experiences conducted in international environments
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping rules and international standard
  • Preferably Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • HFM reporting system
  • IFRS accounting standards
  • Fluent in English and Italian
