Parking Service Manager (San Antonio, US)

Job Description

Plans, manages and oversees the operation of the parking and citation operation of the university. Provides management and supervision to the parking office to include personnel, budget, purchasing, and project coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory experience; knowledge of accounting and cash handling principles; experience with parking, transportation or commuter services strongly preferred.

Job Duties

Supervises parking office staff including disciplining, setting priorities, training, counseling, setting procedures, evaluating performance, directing work, and delegating tasks. Maintains and coordinates personnel record-keeping and transactions on staff. Manages fiscal activities including developing budgets, posting and reconciling all accounts, preparing cost analyses, and maintaining sound financial state of the division.

Communicates needs and problems including recommending changes in policy and procedures if needed to meet departmental goals. Maintain equipment inventory and space inventory for department. Processes or supervises the processing of personnel, purchasing, budget, and accounting transactions through the institutional electronic document system.
