ParkMobile is looking for a rock star Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team! As a member of the SRE team, you will partner with development teams to help create automated pipelines and solutions required for continuous delivery in an Agile DevOps/SecOps environment. This is an opportunity to create automation, monitoring, and pipelines to improve deploy and response times across the board. We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about infrastructure as code and continuous deployment to build scalable and highly reliable infrastructure.
Enhance automation on development processes and procedures Design and assist in the setup and maintenance of application monitoring and alerting Engage with development teams to ensure best practices are implemented Improve predictability and reliability of infrastructure releases, application releases, workflows, and operating software Reduce application and infrastructure deployment windows by the leading company towards a Continuous Deployment environment Reduce mean time to recovery by helping troubleshoot, monitor, and alert on infrastructure and application issues
Who You Are
3-5 years’ experience in building and supporting large-scale business critical systems
Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with Scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, Python, Powershell, Bash
Experience with Container Management Systems such as Kubernetes, MesoSphere, Docker Swarm
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, or related work experience.
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as App Dynamics, New Relic, DynaTrace
Experience with Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack
Experience with Infrastructure Automation tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates, Azure Resource Templates
Experience in multiple development methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban, Agile and Waterfall
Familiarity with Chaos Engineering concepts.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code and Platform as a Service
Familiar with network engineering concepts such as LAN, WAN, Load Balancers, Gateways, Routing, DMZ, ACLs, Subnets
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI
Experience with Logging Aggregation Tools such as ELK, Sumo, Splunk
Experience in a DevOps culture and mindset.
Some minor SecOps experience preferred but not required
Solid understandings of Operating Systems such as Windows and Linux
Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git and Mercurial.
