UI/UX Designer (Atlanta, US)


What You’ll Do

ParkMobile has an immediate opening for an experienced UX/UI designer to join our fast-growing team. You will become part of our Product Development department located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this position, you will be responsible for research and design relating to user interfaces of current and future ParkMobile services. You will work closely with our design, development, and product teams to ensure that ParkMobile applications continue to deliver the best possible experience for our internal and external users.

  • Responsible for understanding features and reason behind each project to convert them into appealing and highly usable interfaces
  • Engage with product and business stakeholders to ensure deep appreciation and understanding of customer’s business problems/goals
  • Maintain high knowledge of current UX/UI best practices
  • Maintain and create assets for other parts of the company
  • User research and testing (in-person / online)
  • Use analytics data to find issues and evaluate solutions
  • Prepare low fidelity mockups/prototypes for internal review and testing
  • Prepare high fidelity designs for review and development
  • Capable of working directly with customers in an agile manner to improve delivery times

Who You Are

  • 4 or more years of formal industry/professional experience as a web/mobile designer
  • 2 or more years of user research
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating past experiences and success
  • Strong understating of mobile platforms – particularly iOS and Android
  • Formal education in interactive design is a plus
  • Design tools: Mastery of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Prototyping tools: Invision, Principle, XD
  • Using design systems to share design elements, track revisions, and quickly
  • Analytics tool: Firebase, Google Analytics, Localytics, etc.…
  • A/B testing: Optimizely, Firebase
  • Front-end technologies: knowledge of coding concepts, CSS, HTML5, some Javascript
  • Conceptual understanding of user interface design and design processes
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to work closely with other teams and customers
  • Can pick up a project and run with little oversight
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to learn new technologies and techniques
