The Training Specialist is responsible for the development, coordination, delivery, tracking and reporting of both customer and internal employee product knowledge and application-use trainings. The Training Specialist must have a love of efficiency and a willingness to champion organizational proficiencies.
Role and Responsibilities
Conducts training needs assessments by collecting information pertaining to product information, work procedures, workflows, reports, and understanding job-specific functions and tasks.
Designs training manuals by identifying and describing information needs; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy.
Maintains safe training environment following standards and legal regulations.
Conducts training classes by presenting information that is job-specific or product-specific, and trainings on proprietary software applications
Maintaining equipment/product updates; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Evaluates training by soliciting feedback from attendees
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications and gleaning product understanding from Rekor’s engineering and product development experts.
Tracks attendance for each training that is conducted.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in training & development, psychology, education, human resources, business, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of working experience developing customized training programs within a structured and complex business environment. Suitable candidate will have had experience in technical training and experience in adult (B2B) learning, performance measurement, and needs assessments.

Ability to work independently (tactical, strategic, and proactive) as well as part of a team
Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
