Sr Parking Manager (Portland, US)

City Center Parking is currently looking for a Senior Parking Manager for our Portland parking operations. This position manages a zone of Parking Flat Lots, Garages, etc. This position receives a company vehicle or car allowance, free parking, and we provide a competitive compensation and robust benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Account GM’s, Owners and Managers.
  • Make decisions that will positively impact the company’s bottom line
  • Manage responsibilities of field staff
  • Communicate with field about operational changes
  • Respond to employee complaints, and issues
  • Create solutions for operational problems
  • Customer Issues/Complaints
  • Respond to and resolve issues relating to customer service
  • Inventory Supplies
  • Work with HR of staffing needs
  • Set-up employee in When to Work, reactivate returning employees
  • Document incidents
  • Handle/Resolve employee complaints
  • Terminations
  • Employee Recognitions
  • Worker’s Comp Claims Reporting
  • Create/Publish schedule
  • Approve/Deny trades and time-off
  • Forecast scheduling needs
  • Fill schedule when needed
  • Update Employee Preferences
  • Damage Claims
  • Track and manage damage claim process with Willis Insurance
  • Manager-on-Duty
  • Take phone calls from field two nights per week.
  • Call employees when shifts are changed/cancelled
  • Shift Lead Training
  • Recognize and promote Leads
  • Approve/oversee payroll
  • Assist HR manager through the payroll process
  • Complete necessary tasks for Impark Corporate Office (Monthly)
  • Handle/Oversee last minute operational adjustments

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of parking, management experience in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to perceive situations accurately
  • Ability to make difficult decisions
  • Ability to be authoritative, give direction
  • Ability to communicate clearly and abundantly
  • Ability to remain calm despite high stress situations and environments
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to make decisions without direct supervision.
  • Strong Leadership skills
