Stanley Robotics is a highly ambitious robotics start-up launched in January 2015. Set to revolutionise the car-parking world with an automated valet service, our robots can move any vehicle. We don’t just want to make the experience of car parking better; we want to get rid of it altogether! Already seeing strong growth with several key accounts (car parking providers), Stanley Robotics has raised equity from big name investors and is rolling out in 2018 several large-scale projects. We are looking for a passionate and innovative backend developer to strengthen our technical team.
We are based in the centre of Paris, in the 11th arrondissement.
Your role will be to ensure the follow-up of the manufacturing of our robots and to control delivery delays. While ensuring good relations with our suppliers and manufacturers, it will be necessary to optimize the entire process according to the three axes: quality, speed and costs.
Working within Mechanical Team, your tasks will include:
Define and optimize manufacturing schedules;
Follow the schedules and manage unexpected situations;
Launch purchases from the Procurement department;
Follow up on the main subcontractors;
Ensure that the programming and configuration of the components are performed;
Produce documents ensuring the good quality of the entire manufacturing process. For example, it will be necessary to initiate the non-conformity files of supplier parts which will then be processed by the Quality and Procurement departments;
Participate in robot reception tests at the manufacturer and validate the reception;
Manage the shipment / transport of the robot to the customer site, the final configuration of the robots on the customer site and the customs files if necessary;
Propose improvements to the processes in terms of quality, speed and costs.
Even though we are based in Paris, we still ask you to do frequent travel to our suppliers, mainly around Paris.
We are looking for a passionate and curious personality with a good knowledge of the mechanical and mechatronics sector. This person must be able to quickly carry out our technical procedures and to make a rigorous reporting of the daily activities.
