This Business Development Manager is responsible for developing leads and engaging new prospective customers to promote and sell the company’s solutions. Key activities include identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through cold calling, campaigns, and high-level prospecting and using established sales process to convert opportunities into close won deals.

Proactively Identify opportunities and assemble contact lists of prospective clients for outbound activity (emails and phone call cadences)
Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)
Contact clients to understand their business needs and work on a sales plan
Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up to build client relationships
Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
Develop and maintain strong understanding of T2 solutions
Communicate product and pricing details clearly
Create and maintain information in salesforce.com
Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university; and
Possess 1-3 years in a sales development role, lead generation role, or sales operations/sales support role; experience in sales an asset
Ability to work with a CRM (SalesLoft) and sales force automation CRM (Salesforce.com).
Experience using systems to track, measure, and report results that prove effectiveness and demonstrate ROI
Experience working with the public sector (e. g. municipalities, universities) desirable
B2B SaaS or technology-enabled solutions experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
