Summary of Position Functions
T2 is currently looking for a Project Manager who can directly manage parking implementation projects. This position reports into our Burnaby office and reports directly to the Manager, Project Management.
Essential Position Functions
Directly manage and execute the implementation requirements of T2’s clients, which include private parking operators, municipalities and universities. These projects will involve the coordination of all aspects of the implementation, whether it is remote or on-site direction of end users and third-party partners. Examples of tasks included in your scope of duties would be: delivery of initial and follow-up training, direct involvement with physical installation execution as required, and troubleshooting technical issues both in person and remotely.
Track and report on project metrics such as: time logged, overall budget, expenses, revenue recognition, and final margin.
Deliver technical training to customers using Web-based virtual applications and facilitate training at customer sites.
Work with Technical Support to recreate field issues and act as Level 2 Support.
Manage internal projects to improve internal processes. These projects will be directed by the Manager, Project Management-Canada.
Other related duties that arise from time to time.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Strong field project management skills, including knowledge of various project management tools and techniques.
Minimum 1 year of experience delivering technical training.
Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and tasks.
Proven ability to build effective working relationship with colleagues, clients, and sub-contractors.
Experience working with government offices would be considered an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical troubleshooting skills with combined software and hardware systems.
Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with MS Windows, Excel, Word, and MS Project.
Must be able to travel regularly (25-50%) throughout North America and be comfortable with being on the road for extended periods of time.
Experience in the parking industry is not required, but would be considered an asset.
