Summary of Position Functions

The Sales Development Representative reports to T2’s Manager, Inside Sales and will work with the Sales Team to prospect for qualified opportunities with Parking Departments within Federal, Provincial, State, University and Corporate entities.

Essential Position Functions

  • Assembles contact lists of prospective clients through publications and the internet
  • Engages with customers over the phone to determine which T2 solutions are applicable
  • Works with the Regional Sales Managers to develop contact strategies
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Experience with is considered a large asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of T2’s software products, services, and processes is required which can be obtained through T2’s training tools, intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed
  • Experience cold calling to municipalities, universities and private companies desired
  • Experience selling a combination of hardware and software products desired
  • Experience with solution selling desired
  • Ability to work with CRM software to manage prospecting campaigns desired.
