Job Summary

The Senior Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, tax and treasury activities of the Company, its month-end processes, year-end audit process, and various special projects that may arise. This position contributes to the financial integrity, accuracy and timely recording, posting, and reporting of the Company’s financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Researches technical financial accounting issues including revenue recognition
  • Assists in preparation of audit and tax schedules
  • Helps to manage the year-end audit process
  • Manages the day to day U.S. indirect tax compliance processes
  • Assists the U.S. income tax filing processes with Controller and CFO
  • Helps to manage the insurance renewal process
  • Calculates and forecasts FCF
  • Manages daily treasury activities
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and research discrepancies
  • Record standard journal entries and adhoc entries as needed to present accurate financial information
  • Present and communicate financial information in writing and verbally as needed
  • Provide support to management on special projects

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in public accounting is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and attention to detail required.
