General Manager (Philadelphia, US)

Position Summary: Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a facility. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for local team in execution of all duties, delivery of service and adherence to company policies and standards
  • Oversee physical condition and appearance of the facility
  • Complete assigned projects relating to operational improvements, facility maintenance and fleet repair
  • Assure the consistent delivery of the company’s hospitality standards
  • Assist guests with routine questions and service related issues
  • Assure all employees follow company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • Manage facility profit/loss with particular emphasis on controllable expenses and budget preparation
  • Supervise all activities of management team and support staff within the market
  • Oversee local HR functions including, but not limited to staffing, scheduling, training, maintaining employee files, coaching/discipline, payroll, and administrative duties
  • Conduct daily accounting reviews, prepare daily reports, and process all location specific payables
  • Conduct daily DVR audits; review/audit fleet surveillance systems
  • Maintain safety protocols/processes and execute risk management practices in accordance with company standards (i.e. incident reporting processes/filing)
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs/troubleshooting on various equipment (i.e. fleet, revenue control systems, mobile devices, office equipment, etc.)
  • Assist with operational activities as required to ensure TPS standards are achieved throughout each shift (i.e. assist guests with jump starts, valet park vehicles, cashier, drive a shuttle, or unanticipated cleaning)
  • Collaborate with corporate personnel as necessary to achieve business objectives
  • Communicate relevant information to senior leadership in a timely manner
  • Manage occupancies and effective utilization of parking stalls (valet and self-park)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • A four-year college degree or more than five years of direct supervisory experience
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to prioritize work duties
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • High level of comfort in utilizing technology to complete work duties
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports
  • Positive attitude, strong leadership skills and the ability to develop talent
