We are looking for an ambitious and creative Account Manager to expand our sales team in the Netherlands.

As an Account Manager at WPS, you know better than anyone how to support your customers and prospects with our innovative products and tailor-made services. In this challenging position you are responsible for the commercial results of WPS Parking Systems (WPS) in the Netherlands in the market segments assigned to you. You are able to successfully build and expand relationships in a short time in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and at the same time achieve our business goals. Your long-term vision is aimed at expanding your relationships and creating new business in order to strengthen the position of WPS and increase the market share in parking solutions. In addition, you develop activities together with your colleagues to bind potential customers. As a solid sparring partner for our customers, you are aware of current trends & market developments. You have an important role in further developing our product-market combinations, because WPS is currently in the middle of a transition to grow into a more software/service oriented organization. Here you bring your added value through creative sales propositions. In this position you report directly to our National Sales Manager.

Content of the function

  • Generating 'new business', as an expert you advise prospects in the field of innovative customized parking management solutions;
  • Translating your commercial objectives into a concrete market plan;
  • Relationship management, maintaining and expanding long-term relationships;
  • As soon as the order has been placed, you ensure a proper transfer to our project organization;
  • Tender management, you are responsible for more complex tender processes;
  • Adequately keeping track of sales activities and reports in our CRM system.

Your qualities

  • HBO work and thinking level, please in the direction of commerce or technical;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Successful track record in sales, preferably you have worked with software and/or technology;
  • Affinity with technology;
  • Result-oriented and a healthy dose of perseverance;
  • You are a real team player and a solid sparring partner at different levels;
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once, while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Insight into consumer behavior and trends within our industry.
