In this challenging position you are responsible for the commercial results of WPS Parking Systems, with the focus on our business unit The Netherlands. With your long-term vision you are focused on expanding the strong position of WPS and increasing the market share of our innovative parking solutions by drawing up and implementing a strategic sales plan. As a National Sales Manager, you lead our sales team by inspiring, coaching and motivating them to deliver outstanding sales performance. We are looking for someone who, in addition to the role of charismatic leader, also likes to participate in the operation. In addition, WPS Parking Systems is currently in the middle of a transition to grow into a more software/service oriented organization. Here you bring your added value through new innovative sales propositions to bring our product to the market. Within this position, your contribution is highly valued and you set the standards for our international sales units and successes in the future! In this position you will work closely with and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Content of the function
Build, develop and lead a high-performing sales force that achieves our sales goals through high-quality customer interactions and propositions, consisting of 3 account managers and 4 sales support employees;
Maintain and further expand our existing relationships in a successful and creative way;
Develop activities together with your sales team to bind potential customers;
You are continuously aware of current market developments and you have an important role in the further development of product-market combinations;
Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on a weekly and monthly basis to understand sales trends, opportunities and unique situations that need attention;
Work closely with internal stakeholders to proactively analyze market dynamics and trends.
HBO working and thinking level;
Demonstrable experience as a sales lead and a solid track record in successfully setting up and achieving sales targets;
Extensive knowledge of and affinity with technology;
Charismatic leadership skills with a proven ability to structure, inspire and guide others in a dynamic environment;
Driven, operationally involved and decisive. You possess strong negotiation skills to manage clients effectively;
Team player, creative problem solver and relationship oriented;
You and your team know how to achieve or exceed results-oriented, established sales targets.
