$9.2m parking facility constructed in Dubai
An official at the Dubai Municipality announced that the municipality has recently completed a multi-story car parking in the Al Sabkha area at an estimated value of approximately $9.2 million.
The Deputy Director of General Projects Department added that the purpose of the new establishment is to solve the shortage of parking lots in the Central Business District (CBD) which is situated in Deira and consists of 445 parking spaces, 13 shops and 15 stores.
The three-storey building takes up an area of 20,000 square meters and the complex's ground floor will be mostly used for commercial shops and public utilities, and only has 31 parking lots.
The 13 shops are laid out on a total area of 4157 square meters and the first floor includes a total of 88 parking spaces, the second has 106 parking lots and four stores, while the third floor has 116 parking spaces and an additional four stores.
