"Women in Parking" Networking Event at Intertraffic 2012

Scheidt & Bachmann, one of the world leaders in Parking Management Systems is hosting a Women in Parking networking event on Wednesday, 28th March at their exhibition stand at Intertraffic 2012 in Amsterdam.
Rhiannon Lewis, International Key Account Manager at Scheidt & Bachmann, has spoken about why such an event has been organised. I am well connected to the British Parking Association, which has run its own Women in Parking group successfully since 2005. We at Scheidt & Bachmann wanted to use this model in order to initiate a group not just limited to Britain. The parking industry, contrary to what many may think, is not just an industry dominated by men. There are indeed many women in the parking industry, at all levels, who would find such an event of great interest.

The aim of Scheidt & Bachmanns event in March is to give participants excellent networking and knowledge sharing opportunities. In addition Ms. Lewis hopes that this event will pave the way for further Women in Parking events in the future.

The event is open to everyone in terms of role within the industry from PAs through to Senior Management. Parking Professionals from all areas such as technology, operations, management and construction are welcome.

Scheidt & Bachmann can be found in Hall 2, Stand 02.102. For more details on the Women in Parking event, please contact Ms. Rhiannon Lewis by email (lewis.rhiannon@scheidt-bachmann.de) or visit the Women in Parking Association group on LinkedIn.
