Federal APDs Parking Software (Element) Now Certified PA-DSS Validated Payment Application

Federal APD, the largest U.S. manufacturer of parking, access and revenue control systems, recently received notification that its Element Facility Management Software Version 1.2 has become certified and listed as a PA-DSS Validated Payment Application per PCI Security Standards.
This is a significant step forward in making Element the parking industrys premier facility management software said Matt Zaske, Director of Software Development at Federal APD. Elements design is based completely on the users experience, combining functionality and simplicity to form the gold standard in parking software. Now that its officially listed by PCI Security Standards as an approved provider, we expect Element installations to quickly increase.

Element FMS Version 1.2 is compliant relative to the PCI SSC 2.0 requirements. This standard encompasses a set of criteria and key controls at the application level for protection of credit card holder data and sensitive information.
