Federal Signal Appoints Charles F. Avery, Jr. as Vice President, Information Technology and Controller

Mr. Avery will report directly to Mr. William Barker, Chief Financial Officer of the Company. In addition to serving as the Companys Principal Accounting Officer, Mr. Avery will have enterprise-wide responsibility for information technology.
Chips background and experience make him an excellent fit for this position said Mr. Barker. Chip has been a key part of the Companys leadership team during his tenure as Group Vice President, Finance for the Environmental Solutions Group (ESG), and he played a lead role in the implementation of Oracles JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system at ESG.
Mr. Avery joined Federal Signal in 2005 as the Group Vice President, Finance for the Environmental Solutions Group. Mr. Avery holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Notre Dame and Bachelor of Science Degrees from Ferris State College.
