5by2 Parking is Launched

5BY2, a leading supplier of fully automated parking systems (also known as robotic, automatic or mechanical parking systems or garages) has launched its new domain www.5by2parking.com. The website is an interim website until its new website is launched in September 2010.

5BY2 owes its name to the size of the parking place that we need. All it need is a little over 5m by 2m, i.e. 10m2, plus a few empty spaces giving an average of 12m2. Comparing this against the 25-30m2 required in conventional parking there can be more than double the number of cars parked in the same area with a 5BY2 system. If you then factor in the reduced floor-to-floor heights that the system needs, volume (m3) savings can be more than 60% compared with conventional parking.

5BY2 currently maintains all 26 of the fully automated parking systems that it has designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned.  The planned preventative and reactive maintenance is carried out by 5BY2s own experienced qualified maintenance engineers.
