FHN starts parking lot resurfacing project
FHN is upgrading and resurfacing the parking lot adjacent to FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport.
It may be a bit of a hassle short-term, but this project will mean improved parking and traffic flow, as well as increased safety for our patients and their loved ones in the future, said Rick Long, FHN director of facility services, in a press release.
The work is being done to improve patient access and make more efficient use of the space available.
The project is underway and will affect, but not prevent, parking at the hospital through its completion in November 2011. As the project progresses, different areas of the lot will be made available for parking. Please be observant of directional signage that will change as the project progresses.
An average of 1,500 people come to FHN daily for their health care needs.
