Intelligent parking guidance systems from MSR-Traffic for smaller projects

Small and Smart!

The monitoring of car parks is useful not only for large open-air car parks or underground car parks – an investment in intelligent and dynamic parking guidance systems is also worthwhile for smaller facilities.

Among others, the following three properties have recently been equipped with a smart guidance system from MSR-Traffic:

Project: VDI Düsseldorf

By its own account, the technical-scientific association VDI e.V., established back in 1856, is the largest association and lobbyist for engineers and natural scientists in Germany. Members of the VDI Group carry out technical-scientific work for standardisations and act as project executing organisations with public research funding. The VDI Group lobbies the heads of the German government and the EU and is therefore included in the German Federal Government’s lobby list. MSR-Traffic supplied a complete parking guidance system to the VDI in Düsseldorf. bebarmatic Parksysteme GmbH from Duisburg was the reliable partner for the assembly and installation. The system consists of 21 ultrasonic sensors, a controller and a master computer with the pre-installed ParkGard Control Center software.

Project: Ernst & Young office complex in Luxembourg

Ernst & Young is a globally operative network of legally autonomous and independent companies working in the fields of auditing, tax advice and corporate or management consulting. Ernst & Young is one of the world’s four largest auditing companies. As of 2014 the group employed over 190,000 people at 700 locations in 150 countries.

MSR-Traffic supplied a parking guidance system consisting of: 51 ultrasonic sensors (1 per parking spot), controller, LED display and a master computer with the appropriately configured ParkGard Control Center software.

Project: Fraunhofer Test Centre in Nuremberg

The Fraunhofer Institute is Europe’s largest research organisation for application-oriented research. This research work therefore has a great influence on the future life of human beings. They are creative, shape technology, design products, improve processes, open up new ways and ultimately invent the future.

MSR-Traffic supplied a parking guidance system for over 50 parking spots for the new building in Nuremberg, consisting of ultrasonic sensors (1 per parking spot), controller and LED display. It is a stand-alone system and thus runs without PC and SCADA software.
