Park One Announces Appointment of New Company President
Bijan Eghtedari announced today the appointment of Fredrick W. Bredemeyer, II as president of Park One of Florida.
Park One's enormous growth and success in Florida has created substantial client demand for its services throughout the Southern United States. In keeping with Park One's philosophy of high quality client service, the company has taken the next step in its development into a premiere regional parking operator.
Mr. Bredemeyer has over 25 years of experience in the parking industry with most recently having owned and managed his consulting firm. As Principal of ConsulPark, he performed parking asset valuations and provided recommendations to enhance clients' parking income, working with several large investment firms and asset owners.
He began his parking career with APCOA/Standard Parking and moved to Miami in 1991 as the regional manager for the firm. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Bredemeyer served as the Chief Operating Officer of Miami Parking Authority (MPA), during which period, revenues and EBITDA nearly doubled. Mr. Bredemeyer's activity in the local community has been equally intensive, including serving as president of the Board of Directors of the Kristi House, a South Florida not-for-profit organization that provides a healing environment for child victims of sexual abuse.
The company believes that the revised operating structure will provide increased operational and executive depth in its core Florida market while enabling it to respond to increasing demand and opportunity for services in new geographical areas.
Bijan Eghtedari states, "It is with great pleasure that I bring Fred on board to serve as our new president for Florida branch. Fred will oversee all day to day operations and marketing of the firm and will be a key contributor to my effort in continued growth and expansion the company both locally and in several new markets. He brings a wealth of experience in all facets of the industry. I have known Fred professionally and personally for many years and followed his successful career and his many achievements along the way including when he was named the International Parking Institute's 'Parking Professional of the Year' in 2008 to his work with City of Miami's parking department. I admire and share his passionate care for our community. He understands our culture, commitments and disciplines and I feel fortunate to have him lead our Florida division while we continue to execute on our company's strategic business objectives."
As Managing Member of Park One Holdings, Mr. Eghtedari along with the board of directors will continue to direct the course of the firm, which currently employs 1,200 full-time employees serving 125 properties.
