A top event - The Security and facility management industry experts met at the UK End-User Summit hosted by LEGIC
Security and facility management experts from around the country gathered at the first UK End-User Summit organised by LEGIC, to discuss challenges in their working environment and how the contactless smart card solutions can support their strategy.
LEGIC, leading supplier of contactless smart card technology organised its first End-User Summit in the UK on April 24-25 in London and Manchester. The successful event was a unique opportunity for industry experts to discuss openly with senior executives and peers, the challenges they faced in terms of security and access management and to hear how the contactless smart card applications could answer those and impact on business life.
The event boasted presentations from top-speakers from BMW UK, Airbus and VIDEF. BMW and Airbus, both leading company in their respective industries, shared their experience with the contactless smart card solutions, having more then 100,000 credentials and thousands of readers for access control, vending and parking in operation.
A really valuable event. I learnt a lot on what we can do with advanced smart card technology and how our enterprise can benefit by using it, one participant mentioned. It was really very helpful to get direct information from industry peers and learn from their experiences. This event provided me with first-hand insights into how we should go ahead with our planning. A top event - It made many things much clearer to me.
The success of the event shows that there is a need for exchange of views and discussions in the security and facilities management industry, a need that future LEGIC End-User Summits to be organised in the UK will continue to address.
